UI E-Mail Accounts for Distance Education Students

You need an active UI e-mail account. You are responsible for all information sent to your UI e-mail account. Select one of the two options below:

If you prefer to use your University of Iowa e-mail account:	If you prefer to have messages directed to your Hotmail, AOL, or other e-mail account:
• Activate your account at http://isis.uiowa.edu/.	• Route your e-mail at http://isis.uiowa.edu/.
• Log in using your Hawk ID and Hawk ID password.	• Log in using your Hawk ID and Hawk ID password.
• Select the My UIowa link near the top of the page.	• Select the My UIowa link near the top of the page.
• Under the My E-mail option, select request e-mail account and follow\| the instructions.	• Under the My E-mail option, select update e-mail routing address and follow the instructions.
• Access your UI mail at http://webmail.uiowa.edu/. For information on configuring other e-mail clients see http://cs.its.uiowa.edu/email/otherclients.html.	• In the future, if you change your non-University e-mail address, you must also update your UI e-mail routing address.

• Please set your e-mail filters to allow receipt of messages from .uiowa.edu addresses.
