Division of Continuing Education Scholarships

A limited number of scholarships to be applied toward tuition for Division of Continuing Education coursework are available. The scholarships may be applied to Saturday & Evening or Distance Education courses.

Priority is given to students in degree programs supported by course work offered through the Division of Continuing Education.

Deadlines for receipt of applications are:

Fall semester scholarships-July 1
Spring semester scholarships-December 1
Summer session scholarships-April 1

If a deadline date falls on a weekend, the deadline will be the following Monday.

BAS/BLS Scholarship Application form (pdf)

Each fall session, scholarships are awarded through The Division of Continuing Education to qualified applicants in the Bachelor of Applied Studies (BAS) and Bachelor of Liberal Studies (BLS) programs. Applicants must be admitted into the BAS or BLS degree program by July 1st and have earned an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science or Associate of Applied Science degree from an Iowa Community college. The deadline for application is July 1.

This fund supports UI staff members who wish to begin or continue their undergraduate studies at The University. See scholarship cover sheet (page 1 of the application form) for information on eligibility.
